Doris grew up in Pittsburgh; she received an undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Georgia State University. She and her husband Frank moved to Los Angeles in 1979, where they established and ran a non-destructive testing firm for 35 years. They sold their business and moved to Sacramento in 2017 to assume the role of grandparents to twin girls.
Serving as our Community Services Chair for three years, she accepted the position of President 2026-27 with the theme of: “Inspire-Empower-Elevate”.
We are a very generous club. We know that when we share our talents, our time and our treasure, we “Inspire” ourselves and “Empower” others to grow. Through that inspiration, we elevate ourselves and those around us to help in our local community and internationally.
