The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks is responsible for maintaining Madison Avenue from Kenneth Ave to Buena Vista Avenue.  We clean up the byway along Madison every 3 months in front of Bella Vista High School.  It is fun, and makes our community look good.  If you would like to volunteer 1 hour of your time, please contact Neil Shepherd for information.

Our Annual Holiday Food Basket distribution will take place on December 20th.  This is a great opportunity to help families of Northridge Elementary with some extra food this holiday season.  There will be two time slots for participation, 9:00am - 11:30am to pack baskets and 3:30pm - 6:00pm to distribute the baskets.  Let Jim Erickson or Tom Freeman know of your willingness to participate.  More information will be provided in early December.

Join Jim and Diana Cralle as they once again host a New Year's Eve party at their home.  Save the Date, and more information will be published soon.

This event is our quarterly clean-up of Madison Avenue between Kenneth Ave and Bella Vista.  Our members volunteer to pick up the trash on the street, equipment for clean-up is provided.  We meet in the Bella Vista High School parking lot at 9:00am.

PRLS (Practical Relevant Leadership Skills) VISION - Creating excellence in leadership in District 5180

PRLS MISSION - Through PRLS, District 5180 offers leadership training to Rotarians that can be used in Rotary and in an individual’s business or profession

This meeting is to review the "lessons learned" from the crab feed and decide if we want to try again next year. 

The plan is to review the inputs submitted by all the crab feed leads and then talk about if we want to continue this tradition in it's current form, in a modified format, or look at other options.

Crab feed leads are asked to get their lists to Keith asap, but no later than Saturday so I have time to compile them for this meeting.

Fair Oaks Rotary will be preparing lunch for families served by the Hope Neighborhood Learning Center, helping unhoused and marginally housed residents in the Oak Park area.  A number of other Rotary clubs and other service organizations will be manning tables to provide items needed by the families. We will need 10-12 Fair Oaks Rotarians to prepare and plate the food.

This meeting is to continue the review of "lessons learned" from the crab feed and decide if we want to try again next year.

Our March 4th meeting will be dedicated to the Annual Rotary High School speech contest, where students compete for college scholarship money.  The winner will represent our club at the rotary district level.

This event is in conjunction with Fair Oaks Park Department, and will be held along with Food Truck Mania and a Classic Car Show.  Women are need to run the booth, and share information with prospective new business women.

Northridge Elementary School garden renovation project - volunteers are need to cut weeds, move gravel and soil, install native plants and help install a drip system.

Guess what? It's Oktoberfest planning time, and we're kicking it off with a bang! Join us for the first meeting:
