*Our speaker will be Wyn Spiller, Rotary International Director for Rotary zones 26 & 27, which covers 30 districts in the western United States, including our own, district 5180.

From volunteering with the Rotary Club of Grass Valley to serving as a current RI Board Member, Wyn Soiller will be sharing her long history of serving others and the inspiration she has gained in Rotary by participating in immunization days in India & numerous hospital projects in Mexico & Uganda 

She has  served in numerous leadership roles with special commitments to peace building & youth programs.

Our speaker will be Jackie Simon, Community Relations Coordinator for CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates.  This organization fosters children by advocating for safe and permanent homes, identifying and addressing urgent needs, and developing permanent connections within communities to ensure that support will continue even after a youth has left foster care.

This is the day our Community Grant Project for Infinite Friends Begins.

This evening our speaker will be Marsha Spell, Executive Director at Family Promise in Sacramento.  The mission of Family Promise is to help families experiencing homelessness and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

He will clarify the vision, timeline and benefits for the Sunrise Sports Center, which will be located at the old Sunrise Mall Site. This is a transformative project designed to provide youth and adult recreational sports including figure skating, hockey, soccer, rugby, lacrosse and more.

The speaker will be Chris Donhost, who will discuss the vital need for organ donations.

Chris is a member of the Vacaville Rotary Club & is the son of Inner Wheel President, Becky Donhost & Louie Donhost, a member of the Rancho Cordova Rotary Club.

A second generation funeral professional with 28 years of experience.  In his current role, Chris partners with funeral homes & coroner offices to support donor families & advanced organ & tissue donation.
